Tax & Accounting Accountant

About the role

Join Kotsovolos as a Tax & Accounting Accountant and take charge of the company’s tax compliance and accounting processes. You will work closely with auditors, tax advisors and internal teams to ensure accurate filing and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, submit and review VAT, withholding, payroll, contractor and other tax returns.
• Manage corporate income tax and Cyprus Defence Tax obligations.
• Handle specialized tax matters such as Transfer Pricing and preferential tax regimes.
• Prepare and monitor Tax Residency Certificates, E9 filings and related tax records.
• Participate in tax audits as well as internal and external financial audits.
• Prepare audit files, reconciliations and supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with auditors, tax advisors and tax authorities on tax and accounting issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Taxation or a related field.
• 3–6 years of professional experience in tax and accounting.
• Strong knowledge of Greek tax legislation and international tax matters, including Transfer Pricing and Cyprus tax.
• Proven experience in tax compliance, tax returns and tax audits.
• Very good command of written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP or equivalent.
