Statutory Compliance Manager – Greek Market

About the role

Diageo is seeking a Statutory Compliance Manager for its Greek market. The role sits within the Statutory Reporting Team of Group Controllership and is responsible for ensuring accurate statutory and tax reporting in line with Greek GAAP, IFRS and local tax legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review the financial statements and statutory reports according to Greek regulations and GAAP.
• Submit statutory and tax reports on time, ensuring full compliance with Greek tax agenda.
• Oversee statutory processes, internal controls (CARM) and external audit coordination.
• Produce analytical reviews of statutory accounts and explain entity performance.
• Manage statutory adjustments and transfer‑pricing documentation.
• Act as the technical accounting subject‑matter expert for Greek accounting and reporting matters.
• Supervise all tax compliance activities, including CIT, transfer pricing, WHT, VAT, Intrastat and excise.
• Prepare short‑, medium‑ and long‑term cash‑flow forecasts focusing on financing needs and internal investments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
• Qualified accountant with Greek GAAP certification (Licence A’ holder).
• 6‑8 years of relevant experience, preferably in an international, multicultural environment.
• Proven experience in risk management, internal controls and compliance.
• Strong analytical ability and fluency in English and Greek.
