Solution Architect (.NET Chapter)

About the role

Agile Actors is a tech company that augments and empowers technical teams for international and Greek clients, and is certified as a Great Place to Work 2026. It is looking for a Solution Architect to join one of its local Athens teams, providing strategic and technical leadership and working with global clients such as Austrian Post, Red Hat and Swissquote.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to design and develop robust, scalable and innovative solutions that meet business needs.
• Conduct architecture reviews and assessments of existing systems and proposed solutions.
• Research, evaluate and recommend emerging technologies, tools and frameworks.
• Mentor development teams and ensure adherence to architectural standards, coding guidelines and best practices.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs with developers, product owners and business stakeholders.
• Identify and address technical risks, and analyze and optimize system performance for high availability and scalability.
• Create and maintain comprehensive architecture documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a software architect and also as a software engineer.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing complex distributed software solutions focused on scalability, performance and maintainability.
• Excellent communication skills in Greek and English; German is a plus.
• Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Required skills

• .NET/C# and large database systems (a plus)
• Modern full-stack technologies (a plus)
• Cloud-native development, IaaS and PaaS platforms (Azure preferred)
• DevOps, fully automated CI/CD environments and Infrastructure as Code
• Software architecture principles, design patterns and best practices
