Software Engineering Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineering Manager to lead our Software Development and DevOps teams. The role combines people management, technical leadership, and delivery ownership, ensuring high‑quality, reliable software while supporting the growth of developers and engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage Software Developers and DevOps Engineers, conducting 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development.
• Participate in hiring, technical interviews, onboarding, and capacity planning.
• Provide technical direction, support architecture decisions, and establish best practices for development, code quality, testing, CI/CD, and DevOps.
• Ensure reliability, monitoring, security, and operational quality of production systems, managing technical debt and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with Product and Management to translate business priorities into realistic technical plans, set priorities, estimate effort, and manage risks.

Required profile

• Strong background in Software Engineering with experience leading or managing engineering teams.
• Proven people‑management experience including mentoring, performance reviews, and hiring.
• Excellent planning, problem‑solving, communication, and decision‑making abilities.
• Ability to balance business priorities, delivery timelines, technical quality, and team capacity.
