Social Media Coordinator and Strategist

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Social Media Coordinator and Strategist to join a fast‑paced, fully remote digital media team. Based in Greece, you will help shape and deliver daily social content that reaches large, diverse online audiences while supporting broader strategy and performance analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and publish daily content across Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X, LinkedIn, and YouTube, including breaking news, evergreen, discussion‑driven, and high‑performing recirculated posts.
• Coordinate with social media and editorial teams to ensure accurate, consistent, and timely publishing.
• Adapt publishing plans quickly in response to breaking news, trending topics, platform updates, or other time‑sensitive events.
• Write engaging captions and copy that align with brand voice and encourage audience interaction.
• Monitor performance metrics and contribute insights to improve content strategy, engagement, and reach.
• Learn and use scheduling, media library, and content management tools for tagging, organizing, and retrieving assets.
• Identify opportunities to optimize publishing practices and support overall social media strategy.

Required profile

• Familiarity with major social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X, LinkedIn, YouTube) and enthusiasm for their use.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple publishing tasks and priorities in a fast‑paced environment while meeting deadlines.
• Excellent written communication skills for creating concise, engaging social copy.
• Comfortable adapting work schedules for breaking news, special events, or platform changes.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently in a fully remote, desktop‑based setting.
