SOC Automation (Senior) Consultant

About the role

NVISO is looking for a Senior SOC Automation Consultant to help customers modernise their Security Operations Centres. Based in Greece, you will design, implement and continuously improve automation across detection, triage, investigation and response workflows, combining AI‑assisted decision support with deterministic processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deploy SOC automation solutions that span detection, triage, investigation and response.
• Guide customers from SOAR‑centric models to broader automation architectures that integrate AI, deterministic workflows and analyst‑in‑the‑loop decision making.
• Build, configure and integrate automation platforms, case‑management workflows and orchestration capabilities.
• Develop and maintain playbooks, automations and integrations tailored to customer use‑cases and technology stacks.
• Define reusable automation patterns and governance frameworks, covering ownership, testing, change management and auditability.
• Conduct technical workshops with SOC managers, engineers and analysts to capture requirements and translate them into implementation plans.
• Identify opportunities for AI and agentic capabilities while ensuring solutions remain trustworthy and operationally safe.

• Ability to balance automation with human oversight, ensuring resilience and consistency in security operations.
