Site Activation Manager (Sponsor Dedicated) – Athens

About the role

Syneos Health is seeking a Site Activation Manager dedicated to sponsor projects in Athens. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality site start‑up activities, ensuring compliance with local regulations and project timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Manage country‑level deliverables, track milestones in the SSU system and address delays with clear rationale and contingency plans.
• Monitor financial aspects of projects, including contract hours and tasks, and escalate discrepancies promptly.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, maintain training records, and guarantee timesheet accuracy.
• Oversee the end‑to‑end site activation process, including preparation and submission of EC, RA, and other regulatory applications.
• Act as liaison between investigational sites and functional leads, supporting document collection, contract negotiation, and budget management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with detailed understanding of clinical trial phases II‑IV and ICH GCP.
• Strong knowledge of clinical trial start‑up processes and ability to interpret protocols.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience managing external vendors, budgets, and negotiating contracts.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
