Service Specialist – Mimi Kakushi Restaurant

About the role

LUURA is hiring a Service Specialist for its Mimi Kakushi restaurant in Paros. The role delivers an exceptional dining experience combining refined restaurant service with strong knowledge of Japanese-inspired cuisine, culture and hospitality, guided by the philosophy of Omotenashi. It works closely with the restaurant management, kitchen, bar and service teams.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and deliver attentive, personalized service in line with Mimi Kakushi standards.
• Guide guests through the menu, explaining dishes, ingredients, preparation methods, flavour profiles and Japanese dining traditions.
• Maintain knowledge of seasonal menus, signature dishes, daily specials, allergens and dietary requirements, and give personalized recommendations.
• Take accurate orders and communicate allergies, modifications and special requests to the kitchen and bar.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and elegantly, following the correct service sequence.
• Manage assigned tables or sections, keeping them clean and well presented, and monitor guest satisfaction.
• Stay informed of reservations, VIP guests, celebrations and menu changes through daily briefings.
• Support opening and closing procedures, process bills and payments, and maintain cleanliness, hygiene and food safety.
• Handle trays, glassware and tableware safely and handle guest feedback professionally.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a guest-facing restaurant service role (waiter, chef de rang or service specialist).
• Experience in Japanese, Asian, premium, fine-dining, luxury or lifestyle restaurants is a strong advantage.
• Strong knowledge of service procedures, order taking, table management, service sequence and billing.
• Ability to explain menu items, allergens and dietary options confidently.
• Oral English proficiency; additional languages are an advantage.
• Eligibility to work in EU countries.
• Physically able to stand for long periods and carry trays and equipment.
