Senior Tax Accountant

About the role

Taxwise Greece, a modern and growing accounting firm, is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant / Accounting Team Coordinator to join our team on a full‑time, permanent basis. The role combines hands‑on accounting and tax responsibilities with the coordination and organization of the accounting team.

Key responsibilities

• Preparation and submission of annual tax returns for individuals and legal entities
• Bookkeeping and accounting management for sole proprietorships and companies
• Transmission and reconciliation of accounting data through myDATA
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns and other tax obligations
• Payroll processing, including new hires, terminations and other employment‑related changes
• Coordination and supervision of the accounting team
• Organization and allocation of workload, priorities and deadlines
• Support of the team in managing client accounting requirements and ensuring timely completion of tasks

Required profile

• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, particularly for reporting and data analysis
• Very good knowledge of Epsilon Net accounting and payroll applications
• Previous experience in team management, coordination or supervision
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong team spirit and a responsible, professional approach
