Senior Manager Business Development – Manufacturing Site

About the role

This senior position leads the execution of strategic initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and cost competitiveness across a manufacturing site. The role works closely with engineering, operations, and commercial teams to evaluate opportunities, manage programs, and ensure delivery aligned with business and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of strategic programs aligned with business and regional objectives.
• Deliver projects within approved scope, schedule, cost, quality, and regulatory requirements while maintaining stakeholder accountability.
• Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and governance structures to track progress and ensure disciplined execution.
• Evaluate business opportunities through financial, operational, and technical analysis to support decision‑making.
• Identify and implement cost‑reduction initiatives that improve overall business competitiveness.
• Align cross‑functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and commercial functions, to execute strategic initiatives.
• Manage stakeholder communication, including progress updates, risk tracking, and escalation management.
• Assess and implement external partnerships and technologies from evaluation through execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business or a related technical field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering, operations, business development or project management.
• At least 5 years of experience leading projects, programs or cross‑functional teams.
• Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment, preferably in medical devices.
