Senior Chef de Partie / Cook A' – Fine Dining at Makris Athens

About the role

Domes Resorts is seeking a highly energetic Senior Chef de Partie/Cook A' to join the culinary team at Makris Athens, its first degustation restaurant in Thissio. Working under a Michelin‑starred Chef Patron, you will help deliver a creative Greek fine‑dining experience to discerning guests.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes, ensuring quality, taste and presentation according to standardized recipes.
• Monitor food quality throughout the cooking process, tasting and adjusting seasonings as needed.
• Collaborate with the Head Chef or Executive Chef to develop new dishes and seasonal menus, adapting to guest preferences and dietary restrictions.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and smooth workflow.
• Mentor and train junior cooks, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization and compliance with health‑safety regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional kitchen experience, including at least 1 year as a Cook A in high‑volume or fine‑dining environments.
• Culinary degree or equivalent certification from a recognized institution.
• Strong knowledge of English language.

Required skills

• Advanced culinary techniques across multiple cuisines.
• Food safety standards, sanitation regulations and allergen management.
• HACCP certification (preferred).
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining consistency.
