Senior Business Controller

About the role

The Senior Business Controller will join Etraveli Group's Finance team in Athens, reporting to the Group Business Control Senior Manager. The role focuses on reconciling revenues and costs, providing financial insights, and supporting strategic decisions across global operations.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and monitor KPIs, revenue streams, and cost structures to ensure financial health.
• Translate large datasets into accurate revenue and cost reports for Finance teams.
• Build financial models and automate manual processes for scalability.
• Collaborate with Business Control teams in Athens, Sweden, and Canada to align best practices.
• Lead process analysis, control, and continuous optimization, reporting insights to stakeholders.
• Participate in cross‑functional projects and conduct ad‑hoc strategic analyses.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing large business data sets and driving performance control.
• Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to identify trends and make strategic recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.
• Adaptability to evolving business needs and a track record of successful project execution.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
