Senior Business Analyst - eFront Private Capital

About the role

Talan is recruiting a Senior Business Analyst for a long-term programme for a top-tier banking client, focused on the use and integration of eFront (BlackRock), the leading platform for alternative investments (Private Equity, Real Estate, Private Debt), with the client's core systems. The position is based in Warsaw with a hybrid setup, and commuting or relocating is mandatory.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse requirements from business stakeholders, IT teams and the vendor, translating them into functional specifications.
• Own the functional design of eFront solutions and their integrations with upstream and downstream systems.
• Document changes, define acceptance criteria, and perform impact and cost-benefit analyses.
• Prepare test plans and test data, and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Support the investigation and root-cause analysis of production issues.

Required profile

• Proven hands-on experience with eFront Invest (FrontInvest).
• 5+ years as an IT Business Analyst or Functional Analyst in financial services.
• Strong knowledge of Private Equity / Real Estate, fund administration, closed-ended fund structures, capital calls and distributions.
• Fluent English (C1).

Required skills

• SQL for data analysis.
• Nice to have: eFront Data Warehouse, eFront reporting, UCITS / FA / TA / custody, Agile (Jira, Confluence).
