Senior Auditor

About the role

BDO Greece is seeking a Senior Auditor to lead audit engagements for a portfolio of high‑impact clients. The role combines technical audit execution with mentorship of junior staff in a fast‑growing professional services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct audits and oversee the work performed by junior team members, ensuring adherence to the BDO Audit Methodology.
• Monitor engagement progress against the audit plan and adjust resources as needed.
• Assist in planning, execution, and finalisation of audit assignments for manager or partner review.
• Produce high‑quality client correspondence and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with internal methodology, risk‑management policies, and external regulatory requirements.
• Work frequently at client locations to gather evidence and liaise with client personnel.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of solid audit experience in an audit firm.
• Registered to SOEL records.
• Holder or candidate for a professional qualification (JES, ACCA, ACA).
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
• Strong presentation abilities and professional demeanor.
