Senior AI Product Engineer

About the role

TechBiz Global is seeking a Senior AI Product Engineer to join a client’s product squad in Athens. You will lead the design, development, and deployment of AI‑driven features, ensuring they are robust, user‑friendly, and aligned with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of AI‑powered features, from prototyping to production.
• Integrate large language models and machine‑learning services into web, mobile, and backend APIs.
• Design AI‑first user journeys such as autocomplete, summarisation, and intelligent search.
• Craft and optimise prompts, build agentic workflows with frameworks like LangChain, CrewAI, or AutoGen, and implement fallback logic for non‑deterministic outputs.
• Act as the AI subject‑matter expert within the product squad, guiding PMs and designers on feasibility and design challenges.
• Collaborate in agile ceremonies, contributing to grooming, planning, and rapid iteration.
• Develop hybrid solutions that switch between cloud APIs and on‑premises models while maintaining performance and data privacy.

Required profile

• 8+ years of full‑stack or backend software engineering experience.
• 3+ years specifically building and shipping AI‑integrated features.
• Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum squads.
• Strong understanding of AI model integration, prompt engineering, and agentic workflow design.

Required skills

• Python and/or TypeScript/JavaScript (React, Node.js).
• LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Haystack.
• RESTful APIs, GraphQL.
• Vector databases such as Pinecone or Weaviate.
• Docker, Kubernetes.
• Deployment on AWS, Azure, or local GPU environments.
