School Technology Assistant

About the role

Ellinogermaniki Agogi School is seeking a School Technology Assistant to provide day‑to‑day technical support for staff and maintain the school’s IT infrastructure. The role involves troubleshooting hardware and software, assisting with network and telephony systems, and supporting basic cabling tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support for computers, printers, mobile devices and connectivity issues.
• Install, configure and maintain desktop and laptop PCs, Windows servers and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Assist with user account creation, password resets and access permissions in Active Directory.
• Monitor backup jobs, support antivirus/endpoint security and perform basic server maintenance.
• Troubleshoot wired and wireless network problems, and help maintain switches and access points.
• Set up and maintain IP phones, VoIP systems and basic telephony equipment.
• Install, terminate and label network cabling, ensuring tidy infrastructure in classrooms and offices.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in an IT support role.
• Good knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems and Microsoft 365.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, Wi‑Fi and switching.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities, able to work independently or in a team.
