SAP Project Manager

About the role

Netcompany is a digitalisation partner for EU institutions and public and private organisations, with over 8,900 professionals across Europe. Its SAP department is a premier SAP partner and integrator in the EMEA market, covering hardware procurement, SAP licenses and customised services, and uses technologies such as SAP BTP and S/4HANA. The SAP Project Manager leads cross-functional teams delivering SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide project management leadership and support to cross-functional teams delivering SAP S/4HANA implementations
• Own project delivery, ensuring milestones and programme commitments are met on time
• Establish and monitor project KPIs and metrics, and report progress clearly to stakeholders
• Lead day-to-day execution, facilitate communication, remove blockers and drive progress against plans
• Identify, track, prioritise and escalate risks, issues, dependencies and decisions
• Coordinate activities across project teams and maintain a realistic, up-to-date project plan
• Work with customers, internal implementation teams, SAP teams and third-party partners
• Deliver regular status reports to project sponsors and senior stakeholders
• Promote the effective use of project management and delivery tools

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or another relevant discipline
• Proven track record of large-scale, complex transformation projects with integrated application landscapes
• Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager delivering full-cycle SAP implementations, ideally SAP S/4HANA
• Strong understanding of the SDLC and modern project delivery methodologies
• Analytical, problem-solving skills combined with a business-oriented consulting mindset
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines

A recognised project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2 or SAP Project Management) and SAP IS-U experience in the Energy & Utilities sector are a plus.
