Receptionist (Hotel Front Desk)

About the role

As the first point of contact for guests, the Receptionist plays a crucial role in creating a positive and memorable first impression. You will deliver outstanding customer service and ensure a smooth journey from arrival to departure, working closely with all hotel departments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage guest arrivals and departures, ensuring a welcoming experience.
• Handle reservations, modifications, and cancellations using the property management system.
• Respond to guest inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide information on hotel facilities and local attractions.
• Coordinate with other departments to fulfil guest requests.
• Process payments, billing, and financial transactions accurately.
• Maintain accurate records of guest information, transactions, and special requests.
• Keep the reception area tidy, organized, and inviting.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a receptionist or front‑office role (hospitality experience a plus).
• Fluent in English and Greek, both spoken and written.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with hotel systems such as Protel (considered an asset).
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, multitasking environment.
• Friendly, professional demeanor with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
