Procurement Supervisor – Renewable Energy Projects

About the role

Metlen Energy & Metals is seeking a Procurement Supervisor to lead procurement activities for renewable energy, battery energy storage system (BESS), and broader energy infrastructure projects. The role ensures alignment with company standards, project schedules, and technical requirements while supporting the delivery of complex energy projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee procurement across renewable energy, BESS, and infrastructure projects.
• Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies, procedures, and project timelines.
• Review and approve supplier offers, preparing technical evaluations and commercial assessments.
• Supervise, mentor, and support Procurement Engineers.
• Manage tendering processes, supplier selection, and technical due diligence.
• Monitor supplier performance, KPIs, and support contract negotiations.
• Maintain accurate procurement documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, and technical annexes.
• Collaborate with Project Management, Engineering, Legal, and O&M teams to resolve procurement issues.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related field).
• 5+ years of procurement experience, preferably in renewable energy, BESS, or EPC/infrastructure projects.
• 3+ years in a supervisory or team‑coordination role.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and technical evaluation methods.
