Procurement Specialist

About the role

As a Procurement Specialist at Public Group, you will lead the acquisition of non‑trade goods and services, ensuring efficient purchasing processes across our omnichannel retail ecosystem. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to develop procurement strategies that support operational excellence and cost optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to understand procurement needs and design strategic purchasing plans.
• Partner with business owners to create bidding documents and streamline tender procedures.
• Drive the end‑to‑end procurement cycle, from vendor identification and sourcing to contracting.
• Manage purchase requests and provide commercial term insights for contractual agreements.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies while minimising costs.
• Coordinate internal and external parties regarding the company’s insurance requirements.
• Monitor procurement expenses closely and address budget discrepancies proactively.

Required profile

• Minimum 3–4 years of experience in procurement roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proficiency in SAP operations.
• Strong organisational, time‑management and project‑management abilities.
• Fluent written and verbal English.
