Principal SAP Consultant

About the role

Netcompany is an SAP partner and integrator in the EMEA market, covering SAP licenses, technology and customised services. Its SAP team works on projects using SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP and industry solutions such as IS-U and IS-OIL, across sectors like consumer goods, education, utilities, telecommunications, banking and more. As Principal SAP Consultant, you will be a key expert and leader in SAP transformation projects, working with clients across industries to design, implement, optimise and evolve their SAP landscapes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP implementation, rollout, upgrade and transformation projects across different industries
• Analyse business requirements and design scalable SAP solutions aligned with business objectives
• Provide expert guidance in your area of SAP specialisation, such as S/4HANA, BTP, Finance, Logistics, Supply Chain, Manufacturing or HR
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and turn them into SAP solutions
• Drive solution design, configuration, integration, testing and deployment
• Help clients optimise and transform their business processes through SAP
• Work with technical and functional teams to integrate SAP and non-SAP systems
• Contribute to project planning, delivery, quality assurance and risk management
• Lead workshops, requirements sessions, solution reviews and client presentations
• Mentor other SAP consultants and contribute to pre-sales activities such as proposals and presentations

Required profile

• 10+ years of proven experience in SAP consulting, implementation, transformation or support
• Proven track record delivering SAP implementation, rollout, upgrade or transformation projects
• Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and how they can be supported and optimised with SAP
• Experience in international, multi-disciplinary or large-scale SAP projects
• Willingness and availability to travel as project requirements dictate

Required skills

• Strong expertise in one or more SAP solutions, modules or technologies
• Solution design, requirements analysis and translation of business needs into SAP solutions
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills with business and technical audiences
• Ability to lead project teams and mentor consultants
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable; exposure to SAP BTP is a plus
