Preventive Maintenance Engineer

About the role

The Preventive Maintenance Engineer will coordinate and enable the site Asset & Technology leader in loss prevention of plant equipment, process technology, facilities and buildings. The role ensures uninterrupted service while complying with legal, quality, health, safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑ordinate execution of building and facilities maintenance programmes, CAPEX and OPEX budgets.
• Manage technology and automation maintenance, asset and master data, and service provider/OEM contracts with SLA adherence.
• Implement Integrated Lean Six Sigma (IL6S) methods to achieve zero breakdowns through preventive and predictive maintenance, condition‑based monitoring, visual controls, lubrication and equipment calibration.
• Coach and build capability of operating teams on routine maintenance, equipment breakdown handling and continuous improvement techniques.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align priorities and deliver company objectives.

Required profile

• Advanced knowledge of Autonomous Maintenance (AM) Step 4 and Progressive Maintenance (PM) Step 3.
• Experience applying TPM Phase 3 & 4 tools and problem‑solving methodologies.
• Proven ability to lead maintenance roles on the production line and coach next‑level work‑process owners.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
