Technical Buyer

About the role

We are a global energy and industrial innovation company seeking a Technical Buyer to manage supplier relationships, pricing, and procurement processes. The role supports strategic decisions through benchmarking, cost analysis, and close collaboration with R&D, product management, and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct supplier benchmarking to support strategic decisions.
• Secure optimal pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Evaluate quotes, cost breakdowns, and market trends.
• Maintain accurate pricing and contract data for purchasing.
• Track spend and key metrics such as savings, DPOs, lead times, and evaluations.
• Process procurement documents in line with internal policies.
• Draft and finalize legally compliant supplier agreements.
• Monitor performance and resolve pricing, delivery, or quality issues.
• Coordinate with R&D, Product Management, and Operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
• Fluency in Greek and English (both verbal and written).
• German language skills considered an asset.
• ERP experience, especially SAP, considered an asset.
• Excellent command of MS Office.
