Pool Maintenance Technician – Seasonal 2026

About the role

The Pool Maintenance Technician ensures safe, clean and optimal conditions for all swimming pools, Jacuzzis and water features at Ella Resorts. This seasonal role (2026) supports guest safety and an exceptional leisure experience while contributing to the resort’s rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily inspection, cleaning and maintenance of all pools, Jacuzzis and water features.
• Test and balance pool water chemistry, adding chemicals to meet health and safety standards.
• Monitor and maintain filtration, circulation and heating systems.
• Record and report daily readings, maintenance activities and any irregularities to the Engineering Department.
• Assist in timely repair of pumps, filters, tiles and lighting fixtures.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in pool equipment rooms and storage areas.
• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene and environmental policies.
• Communicate courteously with guests and support Engineering and Housekeeping teams.

Required profile

• Previous experience in pool or water system maintenance, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Basic technical or mechanical education preferred.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Attention to detail, reliability and teamwork.
• Proactive approach to preventive maintenance.

Required skills

• Knowledge of pool water chemistry and relevant safety standards.
• Certification in pool operations (where applicable).
