People Operations Specialist

About the role

Kpler is scaling its People function and needs a People Operations Specialist to ensure smooth HR workflows across the employee lifecycle. You will act as the operational backbone of the People team, handling system administration, employee requests, and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Support onboarding and off‑boarding, manage background checks, new‑hire documentation, and leaver administration.
• Handle internal movements such as promotions and transfers in coordination with People Partners and IT.
• Maintain accurate employee records, payroll paperwork, leave tracking, and respond to employee queries via Jira or shared inboxes.
• Ensure data accuracy across HR systems, draft HR documents (e.g., promotion letters), and support compliance reporting and audit preparation.
• Assist with annual handbook updates, policy monitoring, and contribute to process‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in People Operations, HR Administration, or a related field.
• Knowledge of employment laws in EMEA/APAC (e.g., Greece, France, UAE, Singapore) is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; French is an asset.
• High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.

Required skills

• Experience with HR systems, preferably BambooHR and Culture Amp.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong general digital literacy.
