Payouts Agent – Travel Finance Operations

About the role

The Payouts Agent will join Etraveli Group’s Back Office team in Athens, handling customer refunds and payout transactions across multiple airline and travel platforms. This role focuses on accurate processing of financial transactions and ensuring timely resolution of payout issues.

Key responsibilities

• Manage refund queues from GDS, low‑cost carriers and BSP links using Google Sheets.
• Prioritize and execute payouts to end‑customers, monitoring each transaction in the relevant systems.
• Maintain control of processed payouts and clear pending backlogs within agreed timelines.
• Communicate with airlines and service providers to resolve payout‑related issues.
• Analyze processes and propose automation or optimisation solutions.
• Collaborate with other internal teams to address outstanding problems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Tourism, Business Administration or a quantitative field.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Experience with accounting processes or software is a plus.
• Self‑driven, proactive, results‑oriented and able to multitask.
• Legal right to work in the Athens office.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus or Sabre.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets for tracking and reporting.
• Knowledge of BSP (Billing and Settlement Plan) processes.
