Mid-level Platform Engineer (f/m/d)

About the role

Do you want to play an instrumental role as a Mid-level Platform Engineer (f/m/d) in our rapidly growing Tech Hub in Athens? You will design, build, and evolve cloud infrastructure and platform services, enabling development teams across Engel & Völkers to deliver applications efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain development platform and cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code.
• Build and maintain tools and services that accelerate development teams and improve infrastructure operability.
• Consult, assist and collaborate with developers to maximize the use of cloud‑native technologies.
• Improve observability strategy and processes to enable data‑driven decision making.
• Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines and automation best practices.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in platform engineering or cloud computing with a deep understanding of networking and cloud deployment models.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (or similar), Kubernetes, Git, scripting and monitoring solutions such as Prometheus, StackDriver or DataDog.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Terragrunt, Helm) and CI/CD automation.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot complex problems across distributed systems.
• Comfortable using AI and automation tools to optimise workflows and increase productivity.
