Maintenance Manager – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Maintenance Manager at Domes Resorts is responsible for the day‑to‑day management and upkeep of the hotel’s physical facilities, ensuring that all equipment and areas meet health, safety and quality standards. The role also leads the maintenance team, oversees repairs, manages budgets and guarantees a clean, safe environment for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily maintenance operations, including preventive maintenance schedules, emergency repairs and work orders.
• Ensure all mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) and structural components are in optimal condition.
• Supervise the upkeep of guest rooms, lobbies, kitchens and outdoor spaces to meet brand standards.
• Recruit, train and manage maintenance staff, handling performance evaluations and scheduling.
• Conduct safety meetings, audits and inspections, maintaining compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping, Front Desk and other departments to resolve guest maintenance issues promptly.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of maintenance or facilities management experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role, preferably in luxury hospitality.
• Proficiency in English.
• Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems and related infrastructure.
