Junior Technical Support & Operations Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Technical Support & Operations Engineer to join our partner's technical operations team. This hands‑on position offers exposure to IoT platforms, cloud systems, networking, databases and real‑world infrastructure deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1st level technical support for platform, connectivity and device‑related issues.
• Monitor system health, services, device connectivity and platform activity.
• Investigate incidents using logs, monitoring tools, database queries and system information.
• Perform basic SQL queries to retrieve and validate operational data.
• Conduct basic network diagnostics (IP, TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, ports).
• Assist with configuration, testing and deployment of IoT devices and sensors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or ongoing studies in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, Telecommunications or related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in technical support, IT operations, networking or databases (or a strong graduate willing to learn).
• Strong interest in IT systems, IoT, networking and technical troubleshooting.
• Good communication skills in Greek and English.

Required skills

• Basic SQL and relational database knowledge.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking and connectivity concepts.
• Ability to work with logs and structured technical data.
• Basic network diagnostics (IP, DNS, ports, TCP/UDP).
