Junior IT Help Desk Technician

About the role

TP Greece is seeking a Junior IT Help Desk Technician to work on‑site in Athens. You will be the first point of contact for internal users, handling hardware, software and network issues while ensuring systems stay up‑to‑date.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain maximum system uptime by promptly addressing critical incidents.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and networking problems.
• Install, configure and patch workstations and applications.
• Prioritise tasks, manage time effectively and deliver projects on schedule.
• Communicate issues proactively to users and coordinate solutions between departments and core IT teams.
• Collaborate with other technical teams to troubleshoot complex tickets.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of relevant IT support experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Ability to set up, configure and maintain Windows or macOS workstations.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts and operating‑system fundamentals.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Punctual, professional and flexible with working hours.
• Experience with ticketing platforms and familiarity with Avaya, Ivanti or VMware Horizon is a plus.
