IT Support Specialist (Corporate IT)

About the role

The Corporate IT Support Specialist will join a team delivering IT infrastructure, services and support to Altenar’s offices in Thessaloniki, Athens, other global locations and remote workers. Key responsibilities

• Provide direct end‑user support for hardware and software on Windows, macOS and UNIX machines.
• Support peripherals, networking devices, audio/video equipment and other office IT assets.
• Log and document all incidents and changes in the ticketing system.
• Set up new computers, reinstall operating systems and perform software upgrades.
• Coordinate IT onboarding and off‑boarding with HR and office administration.
• Manage procurement, stock levels and asset records for IT equipment.
• Deliver technical training to employees and propose process improvements.

Required profile

• Solid understanding of computer hardware, components and peripherals.
• Experience troubleshooting Microsoft Windows and Apple macOS in a domain‑based environment.
• Knowledge of basic TCP/IP networking, IPv4 addressing and DNS.
• Appreciation of key IT security concepts.
• Ability to work calmly, organised and patient with technical users.
• Strong analytical problem‑solving and customer relationship skills.
• Technical diploma in a related field and good English communication.
