About the role
We are looking for an ambitious Technical Project Manager (Senior Associate) to join our Project Management team in Athens. Reporting to the Head of IT PMO, you will drive the full delivery lifecycle of PwC Tech & Data engagements, ensuring projects meet quality, schedule, and budget expectations.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the end‑to‑end technical delivery of projects, from business case formulation to production rollout.
- Participate in scope definition, effort and budget estimation, and resource forecasting.
- Manage internal and external stakeholders, coordinate project teams and remove impediments.
- Develop, execute, monitor and control detailed project plans, prioritising tasks and resolving conflicts.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation plans.
- Prepare progress reports, KPI dashboards and financial forecasts.
- Handle monthly billing, invoice follow‑up and budget tracking.
- Deliver presentations and demos to clients, obtain acceptance of deliverables and conduct post‑project evaluations.
- Identify new business opportunities with existing clients.
Required profile
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field; MBA or other master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of IT Project Management experience in the Banking and Finance sector.
- Experience in IT requirements analysis/management is advantageous.
- PMP and/or PSM certifications are a strong plus.
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills for building relationships at all levels.
Required skills
- Google Workspace (Sheets) data manipulation and automation.
- Microsoft Project or equivalent project‑management tools.
- Ticketing and agile tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps.
- Proficiency with both Waterfall and Agile project‑management methodologies.
