About the role
The Corporate IT Support Specialist will join a team delivering IT infrastructure, services and support to Altenar’s offices in Thessaloniki, Athens, other global locations and remote workers. Key responsibilities
- Provide direct end‑user support for hardware and software on Windows, macOS and UNIX machines.
- Support peripherals, networking devices, audio/video equipment and other office IT assets.
- Log and document all incidents and changes in the ticketing system.
- Set up new computers, reinstall operating systems and perform software upgrades.
- Coordinate IT onboarding and off‑boarding with HR and office administration.
- Manage procurement, stock levels and asset records for IT equipment.
- Deliver technical training to employees and propose process improvements.
Required profile
- Solid understanding of computer hardware, components and peripherals.
- Experience troubleshooting Microsoft Windows and Apple macOS in a domain‑based environment.
- Knowledge of basic TCP/IP networking, IPv4 addressing and DNS.
- Appreciation of key IT security concepts.
- Ability to work calmly, organised and patient with technical users.
- Strong analytical problem‑solving and customer relationship skills.
- Technical diploma in a related field and good English communication.
