Java Developer

About the role

EY is looking for a motivated Java Developer to join its Technology Consulting practice in Greece. You will work in multidisciplinary teams delivering IT strategy, architecture, implementation support and software development for financial and corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior consultants and client teams to design and implement Java‑based solutions.
• Provide technical insight on client engagements and internal projects.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members across Greece and abroad.
• Ensure high‑quality deliverables in line with EY’s standards.

Required profile

• Minimum a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, IT/Systems or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English.
• Analytical mindset with solid problem‑solving abilities.
• Enthusiastic, motivated and able to thrive in an international, fast‑changing environment.

• Spring Framework (Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot)
• Service‑Oriented Architecture concepts
• Web Services (SOAP, REST)
• Application Server experience (e.g., Tomcat)
