Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are partnering with a leading fintech that operates a high‑traffic payments platform used by millions. The Senior DevOps Engineer will design, automate, and operate a modern cloud‑native platform on AWS and Kubernetes, focusing on scalability, security, and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain production Kubernetes (EKS) clusters, Docker containers, Helm and Kustomize charts.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, FluxCD, and GitOps workflows.
• Develop infrastructure as code with Terraform and automate provisioning on AWS services (IAM, VPC, ECR, Route53, ACM, S3, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager).
• Ensure observability and monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana.
• Automate tasks and tooling using Python, Go, or Bash.
• Build secure, highly available platforms supporting mission‑critical payment services.

Required profile

• Strong experience in DevOps, Platform or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Deep hands‑on production experience with Kubernetes.
• Extensive knowledge of AWS infrastructure and services.
• Proven ability to create CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
• Experience with Terraform or equivalent IaC tools.
• Solid understanding of Linux, networking, cloud security, and distributed systems.
