IT Support Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an IT Support Engineer to join our Athens team, providing day‑to‑day technical assistance for internal users and customer environments. The role blends remote troubleshooting with on‑site visits, offering a hands‑on experience across diverse IT settings.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑level (L1) support for hardware, software and user‑related issues.
• Log, categorize, prioritize and manage support tickets using the ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot standard technical problems and escalate complex incidents.
• Perform initial diagnostics, collect technical information and use approved remote support tools.
• Visit customer locations in Athens/Attica for device setup, installations and issue resolution.
• Assist with user onboarding – accounts, devices, email and access permissions.
• Support Microsoft 365 workplace services and end‑user environments.
• Monitor systems, services and backups to ensure continuous operation.
• Maintain accurate ticket updates, documentation and resolution records.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely incident resolution.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in IT support, help‑desk or a similar role.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to communicate clearly with users.
• Familiarity with ticketing or remote support tools is a plus.

Required skills

• Understanding of hardware, software and networking concepts.
• Experience with Windows operating systems and endpoint devices.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 workplace services.
• Ability to use ticketing systems and remote support tools.
