HR Generalist – Retail (Starbucks)

About the role

Alshaya Group is seeking an enthusiastic HR Generalist to support its iconic Starbucks brand in Greece. You will be at the core of people operations, driving recruitment, employee experience, and HR compliance in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end recruitment for store and support positions, partnering with Store Managers.
• Develop employer branding content and represent the brand at career events and university partnerships.
• Manage the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, exits, and schedule monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with Greek labor law and support HR policy implementation.
• Provide first‑line support for HRIS tools, troubleshoot digital platforms, and contribute to HR reporting and analytics.
• Assist with employee engagement initiatives, company events, and continuous process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or related field (Master’s in HR a plus).
• 2–3 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in HR Operations.
• Knowledge of Greek labor legislation and retail or multi‑site environments.
• Strong communication skills in Greek and English.
• Excellent organizational abilities and stakeholder management.

Required skills

• Experience with HRIS platforms, preferably ScanHRMS.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
