Handover Site Engineer

About the role

The Handover Site Engineer will support the Handover Manager in coordinating and delivering the handover process for the Riviera Tower project, ensuring all construction work meets design and specification standards before official handover.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Handover Manager in planning, coordinating and delivering the project handover process, including reporting on site progress and de‑snagging activities.
• Verify that construction has been executed in accordance with the approved design and specifications, working closely with the Design Team.
• Collaborate with Production Site Engineers for Architectural Trades and MEP to ensure areas are ready for handover and conduct internal pre‑handover inspections, recording snags in Dalux.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, the Handover Supervisor and the self‑production team to close out all snags before the official handover inspection.
• Work with Production, MEP Commissioning, Quality and Subcontractor teams to resolve technical and handover‑related issues.
• Review and verify completeness of handover documentation such as as‑built drawings, O&M manuals, testing reports, warranties and training records.
• Track documentation against contractual requirements and escalate delays, risks or non‑compliances to the Handover Manager.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in construction projects, site engineering, handover or project close‑out.
• Previous experience in construction handover or project close‑out is preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Greek.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused attitude with ability to work under tight timelines.
• Team‑oriented and comfortable in a multicultural environment.
