Early Years / Nursery / Kindergarten Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Early Years/Nursery/Kindergarten teacher to support the lead teacher in delivering a high‑quality preschool curriculum. The role involves assisting children aged 3‑5 with daily learning activities, fostering a safe and nurturing environment, and promoting positive social and emotional development.

Key responsibilities

• Support classroom instruction by helping implement lesson plans, learning activities, and educational games aligned with the curriculum.
• Supervise and engage children during classroom activities, playtime, meals, and outdoor play to ensure safety and positive behavior.
• Assist with behavior management by reinforcing classroom rules and guiding social‑emotional skill development.
• Prepare and organize learning materials, resources, and displays to support hands‑on learning.
• Maintain a clean, hazard‑free classroom and assist with sanitizing toys, surfaces, and equipment.
• Provide individualized support to children who need extra help or emotional assistance.
• Observe children’s development and communicate observations or concerns to the lead teacher.
• Support daily routines such as arrivals, departures, toileting, meals, and rest time.
• Model respectful, inclusive behavior to encourage positive interaction.
• Collaborate closely with the lead teacher and other staff to ensure consistent teaching practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent (required).
• TKT training course completed.
• Prior experience working with young children in an educational or care setting (preferred).
• Patience and empathy, strong communication skills, teamwork mindset, keen observation abilities.
• Creativity, enthusiasm, organizational skills, adaptability, and cultural sensitivity.
