German Teacher – Primary School

About the role

We are seeking a German Teacher to plan, deliver and assess high‑quality learning experiences for primary school students. The role focuses on fostering academic, social, emotional and personal development within a safe, inclusive and engaging environment, aligned with the school’s mission and curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and oversee the primary German language program, ensuring effective curriculum delivery and innovative, student‑centered teaching practices.
• Coordinate, mentor and evaluate the primary teaching team, leading pedagogical meetings and supporting professional development.
• Monitor students’ academic, social and emotional progress, providing support strategies for diverse learning needs and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Maintain timely communication with parents and guardians, participating in meetings, conferences and addressing concerns.
• Prepare academic reports, coordinate timetables, assessments and school activities, ensuring compliance with internal policies and educational regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Primary Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification or licence as required by local regulations.
• Minimum of X years of teaching experience in primary education; experience in bilingual or international schools is an advantage.
• Strong classroom management, instructional skills and knowledge of child development.
• Effective communication, planning, organisational and assessment abilities.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and work collaboratively within a teaching team.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and student‑centred learning.
