Deals Valuation Senior Associate

About the role

PwC’s Deals Valuation team in Athens is seeking a motivated Senior Associate to support high‑impact M&A and valuation projects. You will work closely with senior partners and junior staff, delivering rigorous financial analysis and client‑focused solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing fairness opinion reports for M&A transactions.
• Prepare valuation reports for transactional, financial reporting (e.g., IFRS 3, IAS 36), regulatory and tax purposes.
• Create and review financial models, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Lead project teams, manage junior members, and deliver complex assignments on time.
• Facilitate internal and external meetings, and support pitch and presentation development.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key client contacts.

Required profile

• Top‑tier university degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration or related fields.
• 3–6 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance/valuations, corporate banking, private equity or FP&A.
• Strong knowledge of accounting and reporting standards (IFRS, Greek GAAP, Greek chart of accounts) and related risk considerations.
• Proven financial modeling ability and understanding of corporate valuation methods.
• Excellent analytical, communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluent in English and Greek, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
