Data Engineer - Spark Developer

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve data pipelines.
• Write code using Apache Spark on Azure Databricks.
• Design and develop big‑data architectures with Azure Data Factory, Service Bus, BI tools, Databricks and other Azure services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Strong analytical, team‑oriented and quality‑focused mindset.
• Thorough knowledge of Apache Spark.
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer.
• Advanced proficiency in Python or Scala.
• Experience with Spark query tuning and performance optimisation.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
