Data Engineer

About the role

Join EY's AI & Data team within Technology Consulting to design and implement modern data solutions for a variety of clients in Greece and abroad. You will work on data lakes, real‑time pipelines and AI‑enabled analytics, gaining hands‑on experience across cloud and on‑premise platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop data pipelines using Python, SQL and cloud‑native services under senior guidance.
• Ingest, transform and validate structured and semi‑structured data from multiple sources.
• Apply ELT/ETL processes, data modeling, data quality checks and orchestration frameworks.
• Collaborate on technical documentation, testing and quality assurance.
• Participate in internal training and client engagements to broaden platform expertise.
• Contribute ideas for continuous improvement and share knowledge of new tools.

Required profile

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or a related quantitative field.
• Strong knowledge of SQL querying and development.
• Familiarity with data management concepts such as Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Lakehouse or Delta.
• Interest in visualization tools and AI‑driven analytics.
