Middle/Senior Cloud & Security Administrator

About the role

Meazon is looking for a Middle/Senior Cloud & Security Administrator to own the implementation, configuration, monitoring, and governance of its Microsoft Azure environment that powers an end‑to‑end IoT ecosystem. This full‑time, on‑site position (Athens or Patras) blends hands‑on Azure administration with security enforcement and developer enablement.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, configure, operate, and monitor Azure resources across compute, storage, networking, App Services, Azure Functions, AKS, databases, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Lead Zero Trust security implementation across Azure services, enforcing strong identity, device, and network validation.
• Enforce cloud and application‑security processes such as least‑privilege, secure configuration reviews, change control, vulnerability remediation, and exception handling.
• Administer Microsoft Entra ID (users, groups, enterprise apps, app registrations, RBAC, PIM, Conditional Access, MFA, access reviews).
• Support developers in secure authentication and authorization using OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0, SSO, JWT validation, scopes, claims, redirect‑URI governance, token lifecycle, and consent management.
• Maintain secure service‑to‑service, user‑to‑application, and device‑to‑cloud access patterns with managed identities, workload identities, Key Vault, certificates, secrets rotation, and mTLS.
• Operate and improve Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, alerts, dashboards, and audit trails.
• Design and maintain secure Azure networking (VNets, subnets, NSGs, private endpoints, firewalls, DNS, VPN/ExpressRoute) and control public exposure.

Required profile

• Mid‑ to senior‑level experience with Microsoft Azure administration and security.
• Strong understanding of identity and access management, Zero Trust principles, and cloud‑native security tooling.
• Ability to collaborate with development teams to embed security into CI/CD pipelines.
