Data Analyst – Power BI Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Data Analyst – Power BI Specialist to support our e‑Government initiatives. You will translate business requirements into actionable insights by designing, building, publishing and maintaining Power BI reports, dashboards and dataflows.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and propose data‑driven solutions.
• Design and implement Power BI reports and dashboards that deliver key business insights.
• Develop and optimise data models within Power BI for efficient integration and performance.
• Create and manage Power BI Dataflows, connecting and transforming data from multiple sources.
• Write efficient SQL queries to retrieve, clean and transform data from SQL Server, PostgreSQL and other databases.
• Use DAX to build measures and calculated columns for in‑depth analysis.
• Publish and administer reports and dashboards in the Power BI Service, ensuring accessibility for users.
• Organise workspaces, manage permissions and maintain report governance.
• Troubleshoot and optimise Power BI solutions to ensure accuracy, reliability and performance.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, Software or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in business intelligence or data analysis with a strong focus on Power BI.
• Proficiency in DAX for calculations and data modelling.
• Experience with Power Query for data transformation and cleaning.
• Hands‑on experience publishing, sharing and managing reports in the Power BI Service, including workspace administration.
• Strong understanding of data‑visualisation principles and best practices.
• Solid knowledge of relational databases and SQL for data retrieval.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Fluency in oral and written English.
