Data & AI Consulting Manager (Athens)

About the role

D ONE is a premium consultancy specialising in data, AI and transformation, supporting clients across Europe from Zurich, Munich and Athens. As Data & AI Consulting Manager in the Athens hub, you own client engagements end to end: you lead the delivery team, manage senior stakeholders and turn technical work into business results. Engagements range from proofs of concept to multi-year platform builds and managed services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engagements from scoping and planning through delivery, keeping scope, budget and quality under control on fixed-price and time-and-material projects.
• Advise senior and C-level stakeholders on their data and AI roadmap and help them prioritise use cases with measurable value.
• Lead and develop your team, mentoring Data & AI experts and fostering a culture of excellence and pragmatic problem-solving.
• Grow existing accounts and win new ones by shaping proposals, estimates and presales conversations.
• Work with colleagues in Zurich and Munich, with occasional travel to Switzerland and client sites.

Required profile

• At least 8 years of professional experience, a significant part of it leading data and AI initiatives in consulting or a comparable client-facing role.
• Proven track record in managing projects and budgets, with a solid understanding of the Data & AI lifecycle, from data strategy to production-grade solutions.
• Experience taking GenAI or agentic AI use cases beyond the proof-of-concept stage.
• Confidence with senior stakeholders and complex organisations, and excellent professional English; German is a plus.
• A university degree in business, engineering, computer science or a related field.

Required skills

• Familiarity with modern data platforms such as Databricks, Microsoft Fabric and Snowflake.
• Cloud experience with Azure, AWS or GCP.
