Cyber Security Engineer – AI Pen Testing & SIEM Specialist

About the role

European Dynamics is expanding its Information Security team in Athens. The Cyber Security Engineer will design, deploy and manage cutting‑edge AI‑based penetration testing, threat intelligence platforms and next‑generation SIEM/SOAR solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and operate AI‑driven penetration testing frameworks to proactively discover vulnerabilities.
• Configure and maintain CTI sharing platforms such as MISP and OpenCTI for timely threat intelligence distribution.
• Deploy, fine‑tune and manage NG‑SIEM tools (ELK, Graylog, Wazuh, Grafana, Velociraptor, InfluxDB/Telegraf).
• Orchestrate incident response using NG‑SOAR solutions like Shuffle, Wazuh, TheHive, Cortex and IRIS.
• Set up and monitor behavioral IDS/IPS systems (Snort, Suricata, SecurityOnion) and stay current with STIX 2.1/TAXII standards.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related field; MSc or PhD preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on cyber security engineering experience and at least 2 years in EU or national research programmes.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and teamwork abilities, with fluency in English and Greek.
