Customer Service Representative

About the role

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is the first point of contact for British Council customers in Greece. You will deliver high‑quality service across face‑to‑face, phone, email, web chat and social media, ensuring enquiries, registrations and complaints are handled professionally and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service on multiple channels, meeting service standards and handling enquiries, complaints and registrations.
• Enter and maintain accurate data in the CRM and other systems, complying with safeguarding, financial and information‑security policies.
• Identify service‑to‑sales opportunities and recommend suitable British Council products and services.
• Gather and share customer feedback to support continuous improvement and Voice of the Customer initiatives.
• Support operational processes such as booking consultations, processing payments, refunds and customer communications.
• Continuously update knowledge of British Council offerings, policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Experience in a customer‑facing role with a focus on quality and sales targets.
• Strong computer literacy and confidence using standard applications.
• Ability to work in English at C1 level and the local language.
• Legal right to live and work in Greece; no visa sponsorship provided.

• Proficiency with CRM platforms and online registration systems.
• Competence in using standard computer applications.
