Buyer – Procurement Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Buyer to join our growing team. In this position you will lead supplier selection, manage competitive tenders and negotiate contracts that directly support operational efficiency and business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage supplier selection processes and competitive tenders for materials, services, and CAPEX/OPEX investments.
• Process purchase requests promptly, securing deliveries at optimized total cost through effective price and condition negotiations.
• Negotiate commercial, technical and contractual terms with new and existing suppliers and prepare purchase orders or contracts.
• Own the full procurement lifecycle from demand clarification to contract award and supplier performance evaluation.
• Contribute to shaping procurement policies, standards and best practices in a fast‑growing environment.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities, supplier consolidation and process improvements.
• Build cross‑functional partnerships with engineering, operations, finance, legal, quality and project teams.
• Provide regular reporting on tender progress, procurement performance and results.

Required profile

• University or secondary education in a technical field such as civil, mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of procurement experience, preferably in materials, services or project‑based purchasing.
• Proven experience with the purchasing cycle, tender management and negotiations.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication skills in Greek and English.

Required skills

• Practical knowledge of ERP systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft tools (MS Office, Excel, etc.).
