Production Supervisor – Plant Operations

About the role

The Production Supervisor acts as the plant lead in the absence of the Production Manager, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations across all shifts. This role coordinates production activities, addresses quality and maintenance issues, and prepares shift reports.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) activities.
• Monitor and resolve quality issues that arise during the shift.
• Coordinate production and productivity matters, assigning operator duties per the Production Manager’s instructions.
• Work with the shift maintenance operator to follow up on maintenance-related problems.
• Complete and submit the production report at shift end, documenting produced, rejected, and reworked items and observations.
• Supervise and guide shift operators to ensure safe and effective plant operations.
• Enforce Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) compliance for all operators and visitors on site.

Required profile

• Engineering degree with at least 1 year of Production Supervision experience, OR technical education with at least 2 years as a Production Supervisor, OR secondary education with 2 years as an Operator and 3 years as a Production Supervisor.
• Industry experience preferred in explosives, chemical, or pharmaceutical sectors.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Strong leadership attitude and proactive approach.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts as required.
